Organic Gyokuro
Gyokuro is comprised of single buds harvested exclusively throughout March and April, the prime season for green tea leaves (Camellia sinensis). These small, tender leaves, less than 2.5 cm, are highly fragrant. They undergo a light steaming process, resulting in dark green leaves that brew a cup with remarkable depth and character.
Beautiful emerald leaves yield a rich green infusion and an earthy character with a full-bodied umami flavour, with sweet vegetal notes and a cream mouthfeel.
Ingredients: Organic Gyokuro leaves
Origin: Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan 🇯🇵
The perfect cup:
1 teaspoon per cup
70° water, or a few minutes off the boil
Infuse for 2 minutes
